Restart

In order to shut down Win7 I push, WindowsKey followed by Right Arrow,
then Enter (which is the default under start/shutdown). Does anyone
know if there's a shortcut to have Win7 restart?

That's hardly a shortcut; more a way of shutting down without a mouse. I
assume that you have "Shutdown" as the default power button action.

To reboot from full shutdown usually requires pressing a button
somewhere. So I doubt you're asking for a short way of pressing that
button; not some kind of stick or extendible rod that you can use from
your armchair by the fire.

Maybe if you changed the default power button action to be hibernate,
and enabled the keyboard to awaken the beast from hibernation, then you
could throw an apple or orange up in the air to land somewhere on it.

Great, thank you. And I see that after the 2nd right arrow we have
the underscoring of the proper letter in lieu of "r" to allow any of
the other choices!

Also you should read the thread just before yours,

A bit of synchronicity.

You might find it useful, or at least mildly entertaining.
