Reminders

If you like to have a reminder for birthdays ,appointments etc then all you
need is to install an old copy of Microsoft Works (mine is version 7 ) then
use the calendar to set it up and it works a treat on windows 7.

Or if you use Live Mail or Outlook, use the calendar in one of those.

In Live Mail you have to open the calendar and even then it only shows you
what is on for the day week or month. In the works calendar it can be set
so that day before it will automatically display and remind you of the
forthcoming appointment or birthday !

Or you can just mark your wall calendar.

Presumably your calendar will will make a noise when you have an appointment
