SOLVED Reinstall for Donation or Sale

I may buy a new PC soon and will have no use for my ten-year old beast. It does have W7, an extra gig of ram and several USB 2.0 port cards installed, so it can almost keep up with today. I may donate it or sell it cheap, but want it to just have Windows installed, with no trace of what I've added... is there a way to do that without having to reactivate it?

You might try backing up the activation tokens, make sure you have the product key , then format and reinstall.
