You have a graphics driver from 8/25/2010 (igdkmd64.sys). Start by seeing of you can update that from Intel. Try the first link HERE.

And your Realtek LAN driver from 10/2/2009 (rtl8192se.sys) can be gotten from Realtek

Basically you should go to the computer or motherboard manufacturer's website and update your drivers then if BSODs continue, post the new DMPs

The drivers on your All-in-one manufacturer's website are old; what I saw were dated Jan 7, 2010 so the drivers in the package could very well be the ones you are using. You could try downloading the Audio & LAN drivers from there but I suspect they will be the same ones you have installed.

I think you might give this Intel update utility a try and see if it finds anything.

As for the Realtek driver go HERE and click the UK1 link for "Utility and Driver Auto Installation Program (Support Win2K/XP/Vista/Win7)(Install Shield v1.00.0187)"

HI again,

I ran the intel update utility - results shown in the attached notepad doc... I did the first update - 'Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family' which is now showing up to date.

The bottom three are unsupported so I guess I would use the Realtek driver link you sent for those...hence my next query...

I downloaded the UK1 link for "Utility and Driver Auto Installation Program (Support Win2K/XP/Vista/Win7)(Install Shield v1.00.0187)", then was faced with a big folder of several files. I ran teh Setup. exe file but not a lot happened.
I think I am meant to go into the actual driver folder C:\Users\Rhi\Downloads\RTL8191SU_AutoInstallPackage.zip\RTL8188_8191_8192_SU_WindowsDriver_1086.48.0809.2011.F0049_12.P0406_UI_1.00.0187.L\88_91_92_SU_Driver\Win7X64

where there are then 3 files;
net8192su.cat
net8192su.inf
rtl8192su.sys

So do I just click on the on the last one - the system file? I did this and panicked as the message said this may unstable your machine....so cancelled it

Sorry for all this, I really appreciate your help

Rhi

The File from Realtek is a zip file so first it must be uncompressed. Did you actually drag folder "RTL8188_8191_8192_SU_WindowsDriver_1086.48.0809.2011.F0049_12.P0406_UI_1.00.0187.L" from the zip file to someplace else, such as your desktop or your downloads folder? Make sure you did that and then go into that unzipped folder and run Install.bat. Install.bat runs setup, but with parameters to create an output log; when it finishes there should be a file on the root of your C: drive called setup.log where you can check the results.

If you had unzipped the files/folders and it still did nothing then you are partially right, down under the uncompressed folder 88_91_92_SU_Driver\Win7X64 you would actually right-click on the middle file net8192su.inf and there should be an option to install. This method will not create a setup.log file.

Please note: Because this is your LAN driver, if there is a problem with it (if it installs but is the wrong driver for your components) then you may no longer be able to connect to the internet. If that occurs then you will need to go to control panel > device manager and expand Network Adapters, double-click on your Network driver to open the properties, choose the Driver tab, and click the Roll Back Driver button.

I unzipped it from my Downloads folder ran install.bat, nothing happens but the log file was created and is attached.
What should I do now or is that it done?

I think it's done. If you get any more BSODs then post the new DMPs but hopefully you are fixed.

You have a product called Trusteer Rapport installed, likely for your bank; it is known to cause problems and I suggest you uninstall that and see if it helps.

Hi,

May I suggest that you use another browser other than Chrome.

Code:
DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: WIN7_DRIVER_FAULT

BUGCHECK_STR: 0x3B

PROCESS_NAME: chrome.exe

CURRENT_IRQL: 0

Hi,

Thanks for your message.

I would prefer not to change browsers, but don't really understand the error message posted sorry!

Could you explain what it means?

Thanks

Rhi

Hi,

The system is saying that Chrome caused the crash.
Do you have any new crash dump files that you can upload?

The reason for changing browsers is to see if your computer still crashes by using another browser.

Regards.

HI

I don't have any new dump files as I haven't had the blue screen since the above action on 3rd Feb (fingers crossed).

I think I did update the Realtek driver - see message above from Jan 26th.....
or do you mean I need to do it again?

Many thanks
