Registry - Context Menu

Does anyone understand what has happened to the context menu entries in the registry? I want to right click .zip files and be able to choose a program I have installed. I can't find any simple assistance, apart from lots of freeware.

Hi ormond - Welcome to w7forums

If you right click on the zip file
select "open with"
browse the "other programs" list
you should find the program you have installed

Once you make a selection the first time, I believe the selected program is added to the "recommended programs" list above "other programs" but I'm not certain about that.
