Recently, often when I am not at the computer (once when I was at the computer), I get "the blue screen" (but the computer has recovered by the time I come back to the computer; finding a solution yields nothing). I have Win 7 Ultimate, 64-bit. I have attached the Problem signature, the dump file and a file starting "WER-" in a zip file (Hans_blue_screen.zip).

Would be grateful for help to resolve this problems.

Thank you,

Hans L

I'm not an expert so nothing stands out to me right away in the DMP.

I always recommend a virus scan in safe mode. See HERE.

The most common cause is out-dated drivers or BIOS so visit your computer manufacturers website and make sure you have the latest BIOS and drivers, especially video and networking.

If you still have problems you might try uninstalling your Symantec A/V. If it doesn't help you can always reinstall it.
