Queries go away after 2 weeks

Only my last two weeks of messages show. A query I posted, and had replies
to, is 3 weeks old, and is gone. How do I set the duration to much longer?
TIA, Paul

This AIOE news server is only keeping messages on the server for about 10
days. You can't change that, but if you have a post you want to save, drag
it to a local folder in WinMail.

Right now, all you can do is Google for it:

Some servers only keep messages for a few days or weeks.
What I do is send the message to myself via e-mail and then keep it in my
mail folder.
example from my win7 mail folder--
Newsgroups: alt.windows7.general

All you need to do is drag a post into a local mail folder. No need to
send it. BTW. What is a Win7 mail folder? Win7 does not have a native
e-mail client like Vista, (WinMail), and XP + earlier, (Outlook Express).

Running xp on my pc's, (and hence use o/e) but fix pc's for friends. Have
windows 7 on a pc just to play with it, so can help with any problems
newbie's have with their pc's ( mainly virus's for nasty sites).

I find this newsgroup great for repetitive problems and solutions.
Hence why I lurk here, and sometimes can inject some points which might help
others.
