Program Startup

Windows appears to start normally but I cannot open any of the programs. When I click on the program all I get is a spinning circle.

This is most prob profile related. At the bottom ie right for the start pearl button is it all grey "greyed out"
Click start pearl button nothing there

You need a new profile. to do this

Log is as administrator or user with full admin rights - change
C | Users and change you name to yourname.old

Log back in as you and should all work. This is a bit nasty and not really the correct way, try it and see
All old documents etc can be copied from the .old profile, thats why you do not delete anything

Since it has been 4 months you likely found a resolution but for anyone else that may find this in a search, I would restart the computer in safe mode & restore to restore point prior to when the problem began.
