Port forwarding for 2Wire router from Bell

Hello,

I installed SoulseekQt on Windows 7 Home Edition.

My firewall is enabled and allows SSQt to pass.

However, when I open the program and I click on Check Ports in
the Login tab of Options, I always have the same message which reads as
follows:

IP: Port xx.xx.xxx.xx: 62149/tcp CLOSED. Your router and / or Soulseek
Client

needs to be configured Correctly.

Do not Forget That You need to restart your customer if you modify your
listening port. >

Maybe I made ​​some mistakes in configuring the firewall despite

Give this YouTube a visit and see if it points you in the right direction.

The host is showing how to add ports for the DDoSeR program but your
application should work the same way with just the name/ports changes.

You might also try testing with the DMZ option in the router which opens
ALL ports directly to/from the PC in the router. If things still don't
work while the PC is in the DMZ then the problem is either in the PC's
software (like anti-virus/firewall or application program configuration)
or the host ISP is blocking the port(s) you are trying to use.

Only one PC can be in configured to the routers DMZ at a time but it's a
good test method as long as you remember to go back to individual ports
when done for security's sake.
