I cannot access my email inbox. I eneter my email address and password as normal, the address bar flicks and does not connect to the inbox. The log in and password boxes are replaced with this message ' Something went wrong and we can't sign you in at the moment. Please try again later.'
I have tried a password change which did not help.
My wife can access her account from the same PC and I can access an old / alternative .com account but not the main one I need.
I can access the live.co.uk account from my works PC.
Any advice please / help please.
Jim

Unless this problem persists for more than 24hours I would suggest that maybe the servers hosting your account (but not your wife's) are down.

Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me.
The problem has been there for approx. 2 weeks now. I initially thought it may possibly be linked in with when I installed Office 2013 and connected my live.com email account with Office Outlook. So I uninstalled Office, restarted, and the same problem was still apparent, and still is.
Jim.

You said outlook.com, so are you logging in via a web browser? If so, is it IE, Firefox, Chrome, or what?

If you are not logging in via a browser, please do so just to make sure your userid & password are still accepted ... I know one of my hotmail accounts wanted more information after they switched over to outlook. If you are using a browser then try accessing it via a different browser or by the same browser but using safe-mode (to disable any add-ons that may be causing trouble).
