SOLVED Nvidia vertical tearings

hi, I have some problem: when I play there appear some vertical tearings, as if the vertical sync doesn't work. I have windows 7 64 bit. does anyone know something about it?

Card is nvidia 8800 GT.

Hmm, could possibly be Open GL settings or GPU over-clocking.
Also is your refresh rate possibly set too high?

Does it look like your screen is jittering up and down? I had a similar problem with my old FX 5200. Try and find the resolution and keep changing it until the problem goes away. OR it could be that the graphics card can't handle the game. What games are you having the problem with?

hi and thanks for responses. I think I found the problem: my display refresh rate was set to 59 instead of 60, which is the native rr. thanks again
