No blank page

Hi,

My grand-son used my computer while i was away for a while. I
don't know what he did but he bugged IE.

I use Windows 7 with IE 8.

Since then, when i want to open a new tab, the start page opens instead of
a blank one as it was before.

What should I do to correct the situation ?

In IE, go to Tools>>Internet Options>>General and choose Use Blank as
the home page.

In IE, go to Tools>>Internet Options>>General and choose Use Blank as
the home page.

A better way is to go to Tools>>Internet Options>>General and go down to
the "Tabs" section and open "Settings." Then you can set it to open new
tabs as blank pages without changing the home page.
