This afternoon i was talking to a chap who wants a PC building, he said

I would like 4 gig of hard drive and can you put on Linux windows 7 because I'm told its free

... , i have asked him to come round in the morning and we can go over the spec

Oh dear :lol: It's going to be a steep learning curve We all have to start somewhere though

Oh dear, that is soo true that we have to start somewhere...I'm just glad he went to you as I can bet you'll be honest and build him something great whereas some of these predatory computer shops out there would sell this person on needing stuff they wouldn't really need.

How very true and we all learn more each day, my New Customer picked his own case on line today and we spend a couple of hours looking at hardware (Mike) has decided on quite a nice mid range build and a new 22in Monitor
