First, eliminate the possibility it is a virus. Download TDSSKiller and RKill using links in our Freeware DB, also if you do not have an anti-virus then download and install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware too. Then reboot your computer into safe mode without networking support (Hit F8 when you see "starting windows"). Run TDSSKiller, run RKill, then run a complete antivirus scan.

The DMP file point to what should be a W7 system file so I want to be sure it has been replaced with a virus.

If the scan comes up negative then at a command prompt run "SFC /scannow" to verify your windows system files

There is not "a" solution. It is a process. You have to eliminate the possibilities:

Update your drivers. Update your BIOS. Try a different anti-virus program.

Post more DMP files.

Are you running Service Pack 1 (SP1)? If not, install it.
