Move Win7 to new laptop?

Hello. I purchased and installed Windows 7 home premium on my 4 year old
dell laptop. I have purchased a new laptop which comes with Win7. Can I
move my purchased Win7 from the old laptop to my wife's, will it
successfully activate?

17. TRANSFER TO ANOTHER COMPUTER.
a. Software Other than Windows Anytime Upgrade. You may transfer the
software and install it on another computer for your use. That computer
becomes the licensed computer. You may not do so to share this license
between computers.
b. Windows Anytime Upgrade Software. You may transfer the software and
install it on another computer, but only if the license terms of the
software you upgraded from allows you to do so. That computer becomes the
licensed computer. You may not do so to share this license between
computers.

You may be informed that the license is already in use on another machine. A
telephone number will be provided to call. You will probably get a robot who
will ask you to read a bunch of on-screen numbers and will then give you a
bunch to type in. The license for the new machine will be activated and the
license for the previous machine will then be de-activated. If the automated
transfer has a problem you are given an opportunity to talk to a 'human'.

Process usually goes quite smoothly.
