-Missing OS-

I am using an Dell Inspiron 1501 Laptop running BIOS version 2.6.3 and I accidentally reset the bios to the setup defaults. Now whenever I boot up the computer, It states that I have a missing operating system. How do I configure it to load my OS?

Do you still have the hidden partition D on the laptop? If so you can reformat with that.

Have a look at the BIOS for the boot device. Is it the hard drive or something else?
