Microsoft Office 2010 Preview

Did anyone else here get the notice about the Office 2010 technical preview? I got an e-mail a few hours ago and it has placed a link to download it in my connect console There's no confidentiality obligation, so we are free to talk about it thankfully!

I'll download it and give it a go over the next few days and report back here with any thoughts.

Is this the one that some people applied for in the news section a while back? I remember seeing the post but I didn't apply at the time Is it too late to get access to it?

The beta applicaiton is now closed, but there's no harm in signing up to connect.microsoft.com and see if you can access it from there at a later date
