Around a month ago, I had an issue with my laptop. Whenever I put it to sleep and wake it up, the microphone ceases to record any sound. This problem persists for an extended time and occasionally, the microphone will spontaneously resume functioning, though i don't know why I've ensured that the sound driver is correctly installed. Despite reinstalling Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 10 on the laptop, all three operating systems present the same issue, suggesting it is not a compatibility problem. Even more, the microphone intermittently works, indicating that it is functional. Is there a solution to this problem?
