Don't delete WinXP's Movie Maker (moviemk.exe) just yet! It will do some
things that Windows LIVE Movie Maker will not. And it will run in Win7
without having to be explicitly installed; just browse to WinXP's Program
Files\Movie Maker folder and click the .exe file. ;<)
Even as a strictly amateur video experimenter, I've been able to create a
few videos from my camera and from Media Center recordings using both WLMM
and WMM.
