Hi All,

We have some old software that will not load onto a 64 bit machine, it does however load fine onto a windoes 7 32 bit machine. a exe file is used to load the software if this helps at all. When you try to load the software you get a error message stating it is not compatible with the version of windows you are running.

Is it possible to get around this problem without having to run the XP emulator which we have tried and works.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

If the software is old 16-bit software then it cannot run on a 64-bit OS without some form of emulation.

32-bit can run 32-bit & most 16-bit, 64-but will run 64-bit & most 32-bit
