Laptop Doesn't Recognize Burned Discs

I recently burned a blank DVD, but when I try to use it on different laptops, it's recognized as blank every time. The DVD drive (DVD RW Drive D always prompts for blank DVDs, even though it's not blank. Additionally, when booting, it defaults to the hard disk instead of recognizing the burned DVD. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
