Kodak AiO Printer Problem

My Kodak All in One 5100 printer was giving me some intermittent
problems after installing it on my new Dell with Windows 7, so I tried
to uninstall the software and reinstall it. Still problematic. So, I
tried to uninstall and reinstall a third time.

Now the driver won't load properly and in the list of "AutoPlay"
devices, "EasyShare AiO" (the POS Kodak software suite) is listed 3
times!

Is there a way of uninstalling Kodak AiO software altogether? I'm
thinking if I can get that accomplished, a reinstall might take care
of my problems.

Download the program 'Revo Uninstaller" and use it at it's highest
setting to remove and clean your PC from Kodak AIO.
Then go to Kodaks site and install the latest Windows 7 drivers from
there, DO NOT use any software that you may have on CDs or previous
downloads.
PS. I use Revo uninstaller on an any stubborn software removal, It does
a lot better job than the windows uninstaller.

Don't you find that just a little bit . . . odd? Shouldn't the unistall
routine built into the OS by Microsoft reliably unistall software?

If it was strictly to uninstall MS software, I would say yes. But since
every ABC company out there writes software that is "Microsoft compatible"
(some with uninstallers, some not), it stands to reason that the MS
installer/uninstaller sequence is not going to be 100% effective. FWIW, I've
had similar problems using Revo, too. I've also had great success with it,
and with the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 .
A number of companies like Symantec and HP have their own clean-up utilities
for just this circumstance. Maybe Kodak has one, too.
