My WIN 7 with IE 8 has 2 versions, 32 bit and 64 bit. I just noticed
the 32 bit must be my default browser. I also noticed there is no Java
installed.
My questions are:
1. Should I install Java in both versions of IE 8? Its been running fine
for over a month now.
2. Should I switch to using the 64 bit version, and if so, how do you do that.

Thanks for any advice.

Just download whatever edition (if Java even comes in x64) Sun recommends for Win7x64.

There's no reason to switch to using the 64-bit IE8 if the 32-bit works fine. IE9 may be a different matter when it finally goes gold.
