Is there a simple installation of Windows Mail 64 bit in Windows 7 ?

I'm looking for a simple way to install Windows Mail used in Vista into
Windows 7 (both 64 bit).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First, you need access to a Vista machine.

On the Win7 machine, find the "Windows Mail" folder in Program Files.
Rename it to "OldWindows Mail" as a precaution.

Using a Flash or CD, copy the "Windows Mail" folder in its entirety from
the Vista machine.

Go back to the Win7 machine and copy the "Windows Mail" from the Flash or
CD to a location in Program Files.

Open it and right click on the WinMail.exe file and send a shortcut to the
Desktop. Done.

I have tried what you said but no joy here...
WM cannot initialize msoe.dll and / or cannot find data directory ???
Initially I had also a problem with "permission" but solved it somehow.

I think , as "bj" said in other thread;

"One gets used to these things after a while.
I just have to (try to) consider it part of my keep-brain-fit program. Who
needs crossword puzzles!?!"

Did you get the file from a Vista machine? If not, you can get it at the
link I provided.

I got bit from my Vista installation and tried even to get it from
CD but never succeeded. I haven't try your link though.
I have Vista installation disk but I don't know which file should I
extract
and how to do it.

BUT this is applicable to an earlier version of Win7, I presume.
Has anyone actually tried this procedure?
