Is there a good duplication checker?

I am looking for a good duplication checker that can check for double
pictures. Besides doing that also to be able to delete within the same
folder. Some don't.

Have tried a couple but nothing that really great.

My brother-in-law likes Reasonable No-Clone.

Got to check that too, but it cost some money. Maybe they have a trial.
Thanks too.

There is a trial, but I don't know for how long.

Duplicate Cleaner.
http://www.digitalvolcano.co.uk/content/duplicate-cleaner

It checks for, finds and deletes all but one of any identical files on your
hard disc. Loads of features (including single or multiple directories),
easy to use, and it's FREE!

Tried it, not that great. Yes it does find duplicates but not all.
I tried Dup Detector as suggest by John and it works much better. Old
interface but better results.
Thanks still for the suggestion.

I have been using:
http://www.pixolution.de/sites/ImageSorter_en.html
for a long time. This sorts images based on their color cast and
other parameters. Accordingly it will detect duplicates. This is a
very good if you download hundreds of images from the Internet.

Also it will detect duplicates even if these are of different sizes,
so that one can cull smaller sized images of the same scene. I use
it all the time.

http://www.prismaticsoftware.com/dupdetector/dupdetector.html is free
and works under 7; not sure if it does all the things you mention,
though I think it does.
This is the best one for finding duplicate pictures, not only can it
find exact byte-for-byte matches, it can also find matches that aren't
byte-for-byte exact, but are optically identical.

Another one that's good for finding general file duplicates is:

Duplicate Cleaner - Find Duplicate Files
http://www.digitalvolcano.co.uk/content/duplicate-cleaner

This one is extremely fast, and offers tons of options to narrow your
search down immensely. And it offers tons of options for deleting your
duplicates, including not deleting them and simply converting them to
file pointers to a single original file.

This looks fascinating, maybe not for just duplicate checking but for
sorting through pictures.

There are other image processing programs produced by the same
company, though I haven't checked these yet.

I just tried the program, seems to crash on my system. Probably got too
many photos. It ran for several minutes and then crashed.

I regularly load up 1000 - 3000 photos without any trouble. I have
Win7 SP1 64bit.
