Recently, I was reading a tech article about Ready Boost. It was really a reprinted article pertaining to Vista users. I've always noticed in Windows 7 when I put in a flash drive that the option to use it for Ready Boost is there. Last week, Office Depot had a sale on 4GB flash drives for $10 a piece. I bought two of them, remembering the Ready Boost article. What I want to know is, is it for real? First, I know it's not the equivalent of adding RAM. But does it provide a noticeable difference in browser speed and performance? And if I selected to use the device for that purpose, is it an automatic download, and can I use the entire drive space (usually 3.7GB on a 4GB drive)?
