Hello I have my mom's laptop and cannot find the recovery DVD? I have a virgin official licensed copy of XP home SP3 AND win7 pro SP3. I have 2 questions. 1. Does Microsoft still support updates for XP? 2. If no then I ask the geeks here if I can use Windows 7 on the Toshiba Satellite M35-S456? TIA!!

XP SP3 support ends April 8, 2014
(& FYI there is not an SP3 or SP2 for W7 yet, I suspect you mean W7 SP1)
