I can't get my Ipad or Iphone to connect to my wireless.
Does win 7 have anything to do with it?

members of the group.
What procedures have you tried so far?
Any "Error" pop up dialogs?

correct answer.
milt said:Nope, sounds like you need to go find a newsgroup and/or forum related to
Apple products, namely the iPad and iPhone. Neither of which are Windows
issues.
I have access to my wireless fine. Laptop connects Ok. Another Computer
connects ok.
When I try to access wireless from I pad or Iphone, it asks for password ,
Which I type in and know it is correct but
it replies "incorrect password"
Now, when I go to my daughters house, Ipad or Iphone connects Ok or When I
am on Golf Course, I connect toan open wireless OK.
I just thought there was some setting in my machine that was set wrong. I
have only been dealing with Computers since 1994
so thought someone on here might enlighten this old 81 year Old.
Thanks for your comments.

correct, but he is a touch more informative, in spite of his nym.
You are trying to connect to the router, and Windows is just plain *not
involved* in that transaction. Well, it is true that you can get to the
router through Windows to do what I recommend next.
You need to do two things: look to see whether your router has MAC address
filtering turned on, and make sure you *really* have the correct username
and password - the ones the *router* is expecting. If MAC address
filtering
is on, you need to tell your *router* to accept the iPhone & iPad's MAC
addresses.
BTW, MAC address, also called physical address, is an acronym for Machine
Access Control. It doesn't relate to any specific brand of computers
Also, as an aside: I don't recommend playing the age card...

Dave said:I've had this problem on my iPod Touch and my iPhone occasionally. Usually
this works: on iPhone go into Settings, General, Reset, and reset Network
Settings. You will then need to log onto your router again with password.
If this doesn't work then I'd guess you have a problem with the router.
You may want to search on it as there are some routers that have issues
with iPhone and etc.
HTH,
Dave
Thanks Gene, I don't recommend playing the Stumbling Block! LOL
