SOLVED installing windows 7 on parallels imac

Installed parallels desktop 4.0 and windows 7 on the imac. Then installed microsoft office. However I do not have sound or internet access. Went through virtual machine to install parallel tools also. However this gives an error message. Still no joy. Please can anyone help.
