Identify 32 or 64 bit computer no power

My work computer is damaged beyond repair. It would be easier to replace it then explain how it ended up in that condition. Is there a way to tell architecture from the window key or other information on the laptop? Or would a 64 bit run a 32 OS?

I don't understand why you are asking about the Windows Key. The operating system is likely OEM, since it is a laptop. If OEM the license key cannot be transfered to another computer. Either way the key will likely activate both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the same Windows edition.
