SOLVED icons and IE9

Previously, when I held my mouse over the icon for IE9, a group of little windows would pop up showing me the various windows (sites) I had hauled up. As I floated the mouse over each of those little windows, the various sites would automatically come up on the main window in IE9.
Now when I do that, each of the little windows still pop up, but floating the mouse over them does not change what is on the main window anymore. I have to click on what particular window I want to come up on the main window.
Is there a way for me to get back to the place where I float the mouse over each of the little windows, it will bring it up on the main screen? Obviously I checked or unchecked something somewhere but bright eyes here doesn't remember.
(I'm using Aero in Windows Home Premium)

Ok people, everyone can stand up and take a deep breath and do ten spins. I found the cure for my problem. I'll paste what I found below ....

1.Go to Control Panel -> System and Security -> System
2.Click on advanced system settings on the left and then performance settings.
3.Under the visual effects tab you should see that the option “ Let windows choose what’s best for my computer “ is by default checked
