Icons After Reboot

All of a sudden, when I do a restart of my computer, my icons get redistributed in to a big cluster (alphabetical I think) This just started happening a week ago...never had the problem before...any ideas??

Right click anywhere on the open desktop,select view, select align to grid...that should do it.

If auto arrange is checked under view ... uncheck that.
