Icon for USB disc

For some reason the icon for this is a picture of a memory stick. I
don't know how this happened but the icon fcw.ico in startup is that.
Can anyone tell me how to get a more suitable icon?

It's not really important, just a little irritating.

make an icon of your choice, save it as anyname.ico
copy anyname.ico to your memory stick
open notepad, type the following two lines into it:

[autorun]
icon=anyname.ico

save this as autorun.inf and copy it to your memory stick, done
:)

Thanks! What I would like to do is get one of the vector icons used in
W7 and attach it. Any icon I make with Paint is rather primitive.

right click on the offending icon, then right click on properties, and you
will be given a choice of new icons.

Did just that but what I got was General, Tools, Hardware, Sharing,
ReadyBoost, Previous Versions and Customize. None of these seem to offer
a "Change Icon" list.

I tried this for the sd-card on my phone,
yet autorun.inf keeps disappearing from
the memory card.

PS I'm running Windows7
