I want Google, not iGoogle!

After upgrading my Vista to W7, IE8 will not let me have plain old Google as
the home pages. It keeps replacing it with some iGoogle crap. How can I
fix it? TIA, Paul

Open Google and in the top right corner (in the iGoogle pane), click on
Classic Home. That will change it back to Google.

Log out of any possible logins to google.
Clear your history/cache/cookies.
Set your home page back to http://www.google.com if already set to
iGoogle, and like someone else said, click the classic home on the top
right corner.

Guess it wasn't an evil IE 8 plot after all.
