I just put 11 thousand files on the desktop

I was going to archive a directory and make the rar files 1.9 Gigs so
I could upload them to "Box" I forgot to check the G box in Winrar.
It defaults to bytes. In an instant both monitors were filled with
Rar files.

I thought it was going to be a big problem. The machine hung while
trying to close open windows. I had to use task manager to close
them. I opened Windows Explorer and was able to delete them.

Where is that "are you sure you want to do this?" box when you need
it?

Although I am glad Winrar gives you a bytes option, it should not be
the default.

First, this has nothing to do with Windows 7.
Second, this was user error, not Winrar's fault.

Well, when something bad happens, chalk it up as a learning experience :)

I didn't even know 11000 icons would fit on a desktop. You'd think
a few would fall on the floor or something.

Nothing like new wallpaper (desktop background)

Brings to mind the T-shirt scene in Forest Gump. "**it happens".
