I have a gem of a home theater PC. It is an HP z556 that I've heavily modified.
It has a front panel that displays what is currently being viewed in Windows Media Center along with icons such as a red circle for "recording". It also shows time when it isn't in Windows Media Center and "Sleep" when going to sleep etc.
I had it working well in Windows 7 32-bit but I recently did an overhaul, now am running a Windows 7 64-bit OS, and it no longer shows WMC info. It still tells the time and "sleep" when sleeping and "shutdown" when shutting down but no longer shows WMC info.
The HP installer installs a program called "Front Panel Display Service". So, I'm not sure if it is a driver problem or a service problem but I figured I would start here.
Does anyone have an idea of how to get my display working completely again?
