How to tell if I have 32 or 64 bit Windows?

hi,, i got this notebook as gift,but how i can tell if its 32 or 64 bit.

You should be able to press Windows Key + Pause/Break (or run "system" from the start menu search) to open the System Information window.

It should then say "System Type" and show which bit version of Windows 7 you are running
