How To Change WMP12/W7 Appearance?

Just installed W7 and I hate the new WMP 12 appearance; there isn't enough contrast and it looks anemic. I much preferred the appearance of 11 but like 12's features.

The only change I can see is that of a skin which doesn't affect the overall appearance. Does anyone know how to change it?
