How do I stop my PC from signing me off every 5 minutes?

After some updates, I rebooted. I signed on OK, and spent 10 minutes
working. I stopped and 5 minutes or so later I had to sign in again.
This keeps happening when I stop for awhile. How do I tell it not to
sign me off at all?

Sounds like your Screen Saver option might have been changed.

Try right clicking on a blank area of your desktop and
picking "Personalize" then pick the Screen Saver option in the lower
right corner of the pop up window.

Even if the screen saver does not have a check mark on "On resume,
display logon screen" click it on then off and hit apply. If it was on
just turn the option off and click on apply and your problem should be
gone if this is what is causing it.

I just remembered, the "Change power settings" in the lower right corner
of the screen saver window also has a password setting for putting the
computer to sleep which might also cause the problem you describe but I
still think the problem is/was in your screen saver options.
