How close & Save all Windows - Shortcut

Is there a shortcut key that will close and attempt to save all windows. I don't mean just minimize them.

Ctrl+S will perform an application save for many programs, but I don't know of a master key combo that does exactly what you are looking for.

It is easy to get lots of windows open and often I realize I simply have too many open or that I need to close them all in order, for example to download off the Internet. I am finding that having windows listed in cascade mode helps me to click click click and close easily.
