Helping people starting on windows

Hi I've got family who I'm giving them a laptop for Christmas and they have never used windows before but have used an android tablet I've done all the drivers and windows update but I want to know what will make it easier for them to use

I've mad the icons bigger like a Tablet and named them browser etc. I have also changed the star button orb to say START using classic shell I've but the simple icons such as control panel and called it settings and all that bit I feel there's something missing can anyone help thanks
