I had XAMPP on my Toshiba Satellite L455D-S5976 Lap Top, but I had to do a ' System Recovery ' due to some issues with the Lap Top. When I did that, everything and all was gone forever because I didn't back up my Lap Top.
Anyways, now that I have been trying all day to install XAMPP on my Lap Top I can't get it to down load on my Lap Top. It's taking hours, and when it is done I get this Error message>>>C:\Users\userid\Downloads\xampp-win32-1.7.7-VC9-installer.exe.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read<<

Can anyone help me?

Welcome aboard :). This won't directly help, however it may be worth mentioning - as I prefer "WAMP" over "XAMPP" :

They do the same thing, but WAMP has worked better for me over the past couple of years - so it may be worth installing that instead?
