Help won't let me open applications

Whenever I download an application for a game, I open it and it says where specifically the applications at like for example "documentsandsettinga/desktop" like that then it'll say "Cod 5 game saver (that is what i downloaded) is not a win32 application" please help. Make it simple please I don't really know stuff about computers

That usually means that it is not a Windows program.
