Help! Library not registered message

Please help.. I am attempting to install the PC game - The Movies - by Lionhead Studios and - I keep getting 2 messages:

a. Library not registered

b. The Movies splash screen stopped working


I ran a scan using UniBlue registry booster - however no progress.

Your guidance is greatly appreciated!

Try the following I found at the Social Answers Microsoft website:

1. Make sure the account admin rights to install the game.
2. Don't run the autorun.exe file when you put the DVD/CD’ s in, instead go to my computer then CD/DVD drive and manually find the setup.exe file and run that to install. When you run the setup file also be sure to right click and run it as an admin.

Let us know if you are able to install the game.

Thank you for your assistance.... one more issue however.


I was able to install the game using the 3 DVDs, and the game is playable - BUT - with no audio.

At the end of the installation a pop up window indicated that there was a "compatibility problem" and to go online and seek a solution. I pressed the OK button only to look at a blank screen.

How can I acquire the audio to make the installation complete???
