I have been trying to format my new 1tb external Hdd to FAT32, but there is no option when i press format, and when i try to do it through cmd, it always says it is to large. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
Use a third party tool. Windows XP had a low limit (around 32 gb) for a FAT32 partition, and 7 probably isn't much different. Use Partition Magic or a Linux app. That is, if you really are sure you want to use FAT32 for a disk that large...quite a hit in performance and wasted space.
