Frequent freezing - no bsod

[Sheerluck]

Occurs daily, more so during more intensive computing (Picassa doing face scanning, iTunes doing library check etc....)
Have ensured that hardware and ram is properly seated......this is a fairly recent development but has been occuring consistently for over a week.
Tried Microsoft Security Essentials scan and Malwayre Bytes.........nothing detected.

Any help would bring me a very Happy Christmas

I ran your Hijack This file through the Hijack This site at http:// hijackthis.de/en . Here's a link for your results. http://hijackthis.de/en#anl You've got 3 files you need to let HijackThis remove. Go to the 2nd link and the 3 files on that web page that have an X to the right of them need to be removed. Reopen HijackThis and let it run another scan without saving a logfile. In Hijack this put a check mark in the box to the left that of the 3 files HijackThis's website has the X's on and click on the Fix checked in HijackThis and restart your pc. After your pc restarts, rerun HijackThis and let it open the logfile in Notepad. Copy & paste the logfile on the first link I gave you and click on Analyze. If no check marks show up, see how your pc runs for a day or two. You may also want to download Malwarebytes" Anti-Malware free from http://www.malwarebytes.org Install it and let it update itself. Then restart your pc in Safe Mode by pressing the F8 key while your pc is starting. Use your keyboards down arrow to highlight Safe Mode and hit the enter key. In Safe Mode open up Malwarebytes and let it do a full scan. If it finds any threats let it remove them.
