Folders view bug

Is there any way to persuade Windows 7 to remember how I want to view
folders and files?

I have, for example, folder A which holds a mixture of file types and
folder B, which holds a mixture of file types and folder C which holds a
mixture of file types. All folders are set to 'List' view. I go into
folder C and change the view to 'Extra large icons' as some of the files
in there are images. I click B in the address bar to go back to B and
the view there is no longer 'List' but 'Extra large icons'. I click A in
the address bar and the view in A is now 'Extra large icons'.

I only wanted to change the view in C but it seems that all folder views
have changed.

Right-click on the folder you want to change and pick Properties. Go to the
Customize tab and from the drop down menu, pick the folder type you want it
to be, say Pictures. Then when you set it to show Extra Large Icons, that
folder only should be that way when next you open Explorer.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
