SOLVED error code

Hi all.
Only recently purchased WINDOWS 7 , so far not too many problems (mostly finger trouble). BUT ..yesterday when trying to use live photo gallery i got an ERROR CODE
0X80010108 This occured when i tried to view a photo dvd and a photo card.

Does anybody know if this could be something i have done or is it a programme problem,
or a computer fault.

If anyboby could throw any light on my problemi would be very greatful

What version of Windows Live Photo Gallery do you have?

Am i right in assuming Live Photo Gallery is part of
LIVE ESSENTIALS 2011 ?
if so the installed version is 15.4.3508.1109
If this is not what you asked for could you please advise where to look.

I suggest you uninstall Live Essentials and install the latest version. This seems to have been a common issue that was supposedly fixed.

Agreed. May not be the problem but perhaps will sort it.
Latest is: Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3538.0513)

Select customised, unless you want the lot, and it will overwrite or install, without damaging your existing private data.
