Error code ox80010108

Whenever this system resumes after being in sleep mode I have one or
many small windows with the message "An error is preventing the photo or
video from being displayed."

The error code s Ox80010108.

I have searched thee internet seeking a solution. There are many sites
that offer down loads that claim to "correct" this but I am Leary of
most since they seem to be register cleaner types.

The solution claiming manual means mostly refer to removing camera or
photo connection. I don't have these.

Any thoughts on how I can get rid of these error messages?

Do you use Windows Live Photo Gallery as a screen-saver?

You could use SysInternals' Process Explorer to find out who is the
owning process that opened the error window. After installing Process
Explorer, click on its sniper icon and then on the error window.
Process Explorer will highlight the process that owns that window.

That particular image is no longer in the place it was in when you last
viewed it.
Rebooting your machine should hopefully fix the problem

I ran a cleanup program provided by Dell. It said it fixed a whole
slew of problems in the registry. In addition, I did download the
"Process Explorer" program. Not surprisingly, it pointed to Photo
program as the one generating thee error message. Now I would like to
actually remove the Photo Gallery program but it is not listed in the
add/delete process.
Can it be deleted or it part of some package?

Is "Photo" you first mentioned the same as "Photo Gallery" you mentioned
next? If so, that's part of the Live suite aka Windows Essentials. If
you installed one of those programs, like WLM (Windows Live Mail), and
neglected to do a custom install to select only what you wanted to
install then you got a whole slew of garbage installed. You'll see
Photo Gallery listed at http://get.live.com.

Google worked well to find how to uninstall Photo Gallery:

http://www.google.com/search?q=uninstall+photo+gallery+windows+essentials

where the 2nd hit goes to:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-live/essentials-uninstall-ui
