Easy File Transfer

I downloaded windows easy file transfer for windows Vista (32bit) so I could transfer files from my old computer (Windows Vista Basic) to my new Laptop Windows 7. It would not let me run the program because I have a newer version of Internet Exporer 8. I have IE9. What do I do?
